Economic and Social Survey of Asia and Pacific 2015

Pakistan's economy is growing despite macroeconomic imbalances, shows a newly-launched Economic and Social Survey of Asia and the Pacific 2015 conducted by United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and Pacific (UNESCAP). Speaking on the occasion, Dr M. Hussain Malik, the former UNESCAP official, says Pakistan's economic growth is likely to improve in the coming years, partly because of the government's major efforts to address electricity shortages and infrastructure bottlenecks.
