Anti Corruption Symposium

Corruption cannot be uprooted unless people are empowered. On the occasion of the 2nd session of Anti Corruption Symposium organized by SDPI at Islamabad, speakers say a ruling class comprising feudals and corrupt people will never allow a system to identify and check corruption. They say that corrupt practices can be reduced by minimizing the gap between the rich and the poor. The experts say that empowerment would come by implementing the rule of law and through worker unions. Our Correspondent Raja Taimur Hassan has the story
