War on Terror: Post-Osama Regime - 1

The death of Osama Bin Laden, the world's most-wanted man has raised serious question in Pakistan and around the world, over security forces’ competence to handle the task. Foreseeing serious repercussion of the May 2nd incident for Pakistan, the Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI) takes a policy stance and calls for a tripartite inquiry commission to increase responsibility for the security failure, for not tracking Osama in a military protected area, and also for failing to intercept unilateral US military intervention deep inside Pakistan. SDPI also demands that the government should immediately hold an all parties’ conference and express the political will to respond to the situation, according to the aspirations of the people of Pakistan.
