Security Dimensions in 21st Century South Asia
The second nuclear age is characterized by geographically proximate nuclear-armed states. The fact that these states have ideological rivalries and unresolved disputes has forced the strategic thinkers to keep the prospect of regional wars in view. Pakistan and India need to engage in meaningful dialogue to prevent the region from indulging in arms race, which is non-conducive for sustainable peace. Gen. (R) Talat Masood has discussed these issues in detail with Tahir Dhindsa in 'Coffee Table' Program.
