Launch of Research Studies on Social Enterprise Landscape in Pakistan

Rana Muhammad Afzal Khan, Parliamentary Secretary for Ministry of Finance, calls for curtailing excessive taxation on social enterprises so that the sector could grow and serve the underprivileged of the society. He was speaking at the launch of research studies on Social Enterprise Landscape in Pakistan, organized by SDPI. This year British Council has commissioned two research studies: one is mapping of the policy landscape for social enterprises in Pakistan conducted by the Sustainable Development Policy Institute (SDPI), and the second is a baseline survey of social enterprise sector conducted by the Overseas Development Institute in collaboration with Social Innovation Lab, LUMS.
