Pakistan Power Appraisal Before Elections
The government can hardly fulfil the promise of ending load-shedding before 2018 general elections, as there is a low progress on increase in transmission capacity, says a leading energy expert at SDPI, Mr. Arshad Abbasi. Speaking at the Coffee Table programme, he says the government may add up additional 10 thousand megawatts, but the transmission capacity is far less to carry the current demand of 28,000 megawatts during the peak season.
